[ He thinks about wearing something scandalous to add to the fun but decides against it. This is Hermes' opportunity to seduce him after all.

So he's just casually standing outside of their meeting place like he's not totally DTF. ]

[Just...what exactly has he gotten himself into anyway? At the sight of Emet-Selch he gives him a wave, swallowing nervously as he gestures for him to follow him inside. The art of seduction is lost on Hermes but he'll certainly give it his best shot once they've bought their drinks and are shown their private room. An awkward sip is taken of the drink before he sets it aside, staring at Emet-Selch with slightly widening eyes.

Now what? He didn't think this through at all.]

[snapping]

[ Emet-Selch gets his drink as well and follows in shortly after. He sets the cup aside and then turns to face Hermes, raising a brow at him.

Well he's doing a "great" job so far. ]

Whatever are you so nervous for, Hermes? It's just me.

[flawful]

I know, I know...

[He waves a hand, laughing lightly at himself in a bid to ease the tension he feels starting to creep up and take hold of his body.]

I just am always afraid of disappointing you.

[snapping]

You will do no such thing. We are friends. And I offered to do this.

[ So clearly he trusts Hermes enough and is also 100% okay being dicked down by him. ]

I suppose you could always pretend I am someone else if that's easier.

[ Just. Not Hythlodaeus ]

Why would I ever pretend you're someone else?

[That has him frowning, if not looking a little sad.]

Although if I am to be honest...I would like to see you for who you are.

[snapping]

Well, if I intimidate you so—

[ He pauses, blinking at the second part.

Wow ok baka... ]

I see. I suppose I can grant you that.

[ And there's the snap ]

[Ironically the sight of Emet's true visage has Hermes relaxing, a small smile settling on his lips as he takes a step forward. Even on his tan skin it's clear to see a blush is beginning to form.]

Thank you...it soothes me to see you like this.

[A hand finds his friend's cheek, thumb smoothing beneath his eye.]

Sometimes I cannot help but be jealous of you and Hythlodaeus...I wish I could see the full brilliance of the souls you both possess.

[snapping]

I shall try to remember to appear so more often.

[ He already unwittingly told Hermes that he has some reservations about just strutting around with his actual face after many lifetimes of not. But he's tryin....

And Hermes immediately snaps him out of his thoughts with his hand there, Emet-Selch's cheeks growing quite hot themselves. ]

It's nothing out of the ordinary I'm sure. Not like other souls...

[ Azem's... Elidibus'.... well, even Hythlodaeus' is far more beautiful than his own, in his opinion. ]

I doubt that. Even from what little I can see I can tell it's something special.

[Is he trying to seduce Emet-Selch? Not intentionally. He's just being his weird self.]

I am sure Hythlodaeus would agree.

[snapping]

[ Who knew that being your weird self is the key to the sentimental Hades' heart... ]

That- No. Nonsense. His sight is even better than mine.

[ He huffs like he's just made a point. But he definitely hasn't, and is just redder in the face for it. ]

[That gets a small laugh out of Hermes. Is he teasing him? Maybe, just a little bit.]

Shall I ask him then next time I see him? I am sure he would happily tell me in detail what your soul looks like to his gaze.

[snapping]

[ Wow, Hermee!! ]

Now you just stop that.

[ He doesn't need people discussing his soul! ]

Sorry, sorry...forgive me.

[He doesn't seem all that sorry though. He brings up his other hand to cup Emet-Selch's face completely, leaning in to press a soft kiss to his lips. He's really trying here okay.]

[snapping]

[ He huffs again, but at least seems to be mostly placated by the kiss.
Stupid sexy Hermes doesn't even know his own power.

Emet-Selch is all too glad to distract from that though by deepening the kiss. ]

[He kisses him sweetly, letting his eyes fall shut to focus more on the sensation of Emet-Selch's lips beneath his own. At least by doing this he can will his nerves into something more manageable. A hand slides back off his cheek to cup the back of the other man's neck, holding him gently in place. It really is nice to kiss him.]

[snapping]

[ The sweetness of it wants to break Emet-Selch's heart, though of course he keeps such feelings to himself. He's only too glad that Hermes can find himself relaxing like he is. It makes him want to tug him closer, but that's all he does, knowing that Hermes needs more practice taking the lead here!!

Still, the kiss is very nice. He's happy to indulge in it for as long as Hermes desires. ]

[Thankfully Hermes is unaware of the ache in his friend's chest. Instead he does his best to focus on how it feels to be so close to another of his own. Tugged close he nudges them toward the bed, ever so carefully, until the backs of Emet-Selch's legs will find purchase against the side of the mattress.]

Will you lay with me?

[snapping]

[ Hermes is also, thankfully, unaware of how offensive it is that he’s doing such a good job of wooing Emet-Selch to his side. How absurd! And yet his gestures are so gentle and his intentions so good… ]

I will.

[ He bends his knees, allowing himself to sit on the mattress then, reaching to help Hermes down beside him. And yes his cheeks happen to be a little flushed but who’s asking. ]

[If he knew he was actually being successful, he'd flounder from the realization. It's best he doesn't know he has an innate charm - he'd just overthink it. As he joins Emet-Selch at his side on the mattress the flush to his friend's cheeks doesn't go unnoticed. Hermes doesn't point it out though. He doesn't want to embarrass him and in turn feel embarrassed.

Instead he takes Emet-Selch's agreement as permission to lean in to kiss him, the contact gentle with a hint of shyness. Despite him taking the lead here, of him attempting to be confident, he's still unable to escape his soft-hearted nature.]
