And Hermes immediately snaps him out of his thoughts with his hand there, Emet-Selch's cheeks growing quite hot themselves. ]

[ Azem's... Elidibus'.... well, even Hythlodaeus' is far more beautiful than his own, in his opinion. ]
[He doesn't seem all that sorry though. He brings up his other hand to cup Emet-Selch's face completely, leaning in to press a soft kiss to his lips. He's really trying here okay.]
[He kisses him sweetly, letting his eyes fall shut to focus more on the sensation of Emet-Selch's lips beneath his own. At least by doing this he can will his nerves into something more manageable. A hand slides back off his cheek to cup the back of the other man's neck, holding him gently in place. It really is nice to kiss him.]
[ The sweetness of it wants to break Emet-Selch's heart, though of course he keeps such feelings to himself. He's only too glad that Hermes can find himself relaxing like he is. It makes him want to tug him closer, but that's all he does, knowing that Hermes needs more practice taking the lead here!!
Still, the kiss is very nice. He's happy to indulge in it for as long as Hermes desires. ]
[Thankfully Hermes is unaware of the ache in his friend's chest. Instead he does his best to focus on how it feels to be so close to another of his own. Tugged close he nudges them toward the bed, ever so carefully, until the backs of Emet-Selch's legs will find purchase against the side of the mattress.]
[ Hermes is also, thankfully, unaware of how offensive it is that he’s doing such a good job of wooing Emet-Selch to his side. How absurd! And yet his gestures are so gentle and his intentions so good… ]

[ He bends his knees, allowing himself to sit on the mattress then, reaching to help Hermes down beside him. And yes his cheeks happen to be a little flushed but who’s asking. ]
[If he knew he was actually being successful, he'd flounder from the realization. It's best he doesn't know he has an innate charm - he'd just overthink it. As he joins Emet-Selch at his side on the mattress the flush to his friend's cheeks doesn't go unnoticed. Hermes doesn't point it out though. He doesn't want to embarrass him and in turn feel embarrassed.
Instead he takes Emet-Selch's agreement as permission to lean in to kiss him, the contact gentle with a hint of shyness. Despite him taking the lead here, of him attempting to be confident, he's still unable to escape his soft-hearted nature.]
[ It's that soft-heartedness that gets to Emet-Selch, especially since he was chided for his own for such a long time. Of course he loves the Unsundered deeply and dearly, but they were never gentle. Life has not been gentle, for many, many long years.
He is grateful that nothing is said for his flushed cheeks though, and readily accepts the kiss to distract from any further possibility of mentioning it. Stupid Hermes doesn't even realize that Hades is completely ready to open up to him and let him do as he likes. His fingers sift through the short, sleek strands of Hermes' hair as he keeps him close.
This is not the journey he intended to set out upon, but he is reluctant to leave now that he's here.
[He doesn't realize at all and perhaps it is for the best that he doesn't. Hermes' innate nature was that of a gentle heart which was why he had so much trouble fitting in in their society. It's that gentleness that he gives freely to Emet-Selch as he kisses him, letting his hands ghost up his sides. He parts his lips briefly for a moment, at the sensation of fingers in his hair.
It's nice. It's lovely even. If only he could always feel like this. If only he could make Hades feel lovely too. He hopes he can.]
[ Hades really has no doubt about that, even if he's a bit surprised by this turn of events. Apparently a Sundering and thousands of lifetimes later really can soften you up a bit. Yes they would have shunned him in Amaurot too for showing too gentle a heart but here it's fine. It's probably fine.
Being gentle and quiet with Hermes on occasion is surely harmless.
He sighs faintly, contentedly up until they feel a need to part from their kiss, and then he huffs a bit. ]
[Praise is something Hermes craves. He can't even deny it. Praise coming from Emet-Selch of all people has a certain richness to it that compliments from others can't match up to. Maybe it's because he's stingy with it and has high standards, or that's how Hermes sees him at least. Not that he'd ever tell him that.
He leans in again, noses bumping as he pecks his lips.]
[ Hermes is just so sincere it's hard to even tease him, which only makes Emet-Selch want to sulk about it all the more. The sweetness of Hermes' actions make his heart twist and his stomach flutter, and he huffs again softly. Stupid sexy Hermes. ]

[ He mumbles against their kisses, even though his cheeks are flushed, and his interest is becoming more and more apparent in the rest of his body. He's really looking forward to this now, in a much different way than how he started. ]

[His hands find purchase atop his friend's shoulders as he shifts to push him back onto the mattress. With a bit of shuffling he straddles him gently, leaning down to press his chest flush against his, to feel his heartbeat against his own.]
[ At least Emet-Selch goes back without a fuss, though those butterflies in his chest and stomach are still harassing him mercilessly. He groans very softly as Hermes straddles over him, wanting to feel him. ]

[ He asks, wondering what Hermes has in mind, or if indeed he needs guidance. Of course, he's doing pretty well so far and doesn't even realize it. Silly man. Then again, Emet-Selch is just pretending that he still has control of the situation himself, so he's also quite silly. ]
[There's a soft, playful little hum out of the overseer, as he looks down at his friend. There are a few ways this encounter could go - it just depends on how bold Hermes is feeling and ultimately what Emet-Selch wants.]

[ Emet-Selch is achingly curious just how bold Hermes will be. What he wants he isn't even sure anymore, because Hermes is taking him by surprised. He's utterly charmed, which is wildly unacceptable! And yet he likes it. ]
