Emet-Selch would agree that it's nice to be back in Duplicity. Insincerity was different and a bit chaotic sure, but it wasn't exactly his idea of a great time. Being the tired old man that he is now, he's only too happy to retire to the apartment and rest for a while. Of course he isn't really Hythlodaeus's keeper, so he would have just lazily waved a hand when his partner said he was leaving. He has no idea what's in store for his near future.
